Earthquake Webmapping

I'm trying to create webmapping of the latest quake on earth.

based on worldkit and geofon

It's really bugging me. The dots won't show up on server, it was OK when I tested on local computer.

OK! I give up. I've read all the documentation and still can't get no clue to make it works over a website. May be it won't take rss from different site or may be I'm too lazy to code or learn the code.

But you can make your own earthquake monitoring on your dekstop, or better, make it work on a website.

Just....
  1. download worldkit here,
  2. extract the file,
  3. open config.xml with text editor such as notepad, vi or jEdit and change "dataurl" to http://geof.bmg.go.id/rss.xml,
  4. open index.html with your browser, and voila!! a custom earthquake webmapping that can make millions rupiahs's govt owned site worth nothing.
If you're interested to hack this app, download the flash movie source too, it's open source!

And don't forget to tell me if your website have this webmapping feature.
